About Rachel

Actor, Writer, Producer & Teacher

I'm an actor, writer, and producer working in TV, film and theater--and a Minnesota mom of three. I came to this work from a deep love of storytelling and personal growth. I believe that powerful storytelling comes from a willingness to confront what's real--honest, human, and transformative--that's where the good stuff lives!

Some of my favorite roles include playing an entitled mom in John Mulaney's Everybody's in LA (Netflix); Megan, a well-meaning but intense PTA mom in the comedy series C'est La Vie; Doris, a struggling 1940's housewife in the film noir Through a Fading Eye, and Jennifer, an empathetic social worker in the play, One in the Chamber. Films I've worked on have screened and won awards at festivals like the IndieX Festival and Fastidious Film Festival, among others.

I also co-executive produced Freud's Last Session starring Anthony Hopkins and Matthew Goode--an experience that deepened my respect for the craft from the other side of the camera.

Before acting, I was a competitive ballroom dancer and U.S. semi-finalist. I'm also passionate about mentoring young actors and currently volunteer as an acting coach at Mounds View High School.
